Wright City and Warrenton Veterinary Clinics are looking for an associate veterinarian to help grow our thriving practices in Missouri. This position is currently offering a generous $150k bonus package, six figure base salary plus production, paid family leave, student loan support and schedule flexibility.

About the Hospital
Warrenton Vet Clinic and Wright City Vet are small animal sister practices located seven miles apart. We have been proudly serving the community and surrounding areas since 1978. We employ best practices and implement the latest technology to provide the finest in health care, including in-house IDEXX lab, digital x-ray, beautiful surgical suite and more.
The cities of Warrenton and Wright City are nestled along Interstate 70, between St. Louis and Columbia. The area provides a peaceful, semi-rural community in which to live, yet is within 10-15 minutes of Wentzville, the fastest growing city in Missouri. It is within an easy drive for the major sporting and cultural events of the St. Louis area, as well as the excitement of Missouri Tiger sports in Columbia, and the draw of Missouri Wine Country to the south.

Responsibilities
- Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
- Treat and dress wounds
- Perform surgery on animals
- Test for and vaccinate against diseases
- Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
- Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
- Prescribe medication
- Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality care
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
- Licensure in the state/s candidate will be working
- Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners
- Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks
- Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal
- Strong fondness and understanding of animals
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of animal behavior
- Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
